Possibly one of the best spots for Cajun food outside of NOLA! Delicious food, great prices, and fast service. Only complaint was the band was a tad loud, but their music was good so I don’t mind it as much. I was shocked to see how well priced everything was, and how great the food quality was! Will definitely be back for brunch.
Easy parking. Martini drink feature was great value. Oysters were superb. Tried the nightly feature dinner Chicken and Sausage Jambalaya (not pictured because it was too yummy). Not only was dinner delicious but was a large amount of food and perfect lunch on the next day! But honestly, we drove across to enjoy some live music with our meal. Anne Cline is so talented. Was a great night!
My daughter took me out for an early lunch and we decided to split our meal and appetizer. Chris, our server greeted us quickly and took our order and gave recommendations. He has a great sense of humor as we chatted about my name "Katrina, the hurricane ". My daughter got the Alligator bites, an Amaretto Sour and we decided on the Tuesday Special "Cajun Chicken Alfredo" (enough for two people!) with a side of bread. The food order was quick & served hot and the atmosphere creative. It was absolutely delicious and definitely wont disappoint a hungry appetite. I cleared my plate !! This should be on the menu as a regular meal as it was so tasty. Wish I could get the recipe. Definitely returning on Tuesday for the special again and especially if Chris is our server. 5's *Check out our pics
This is one of our favorite restaurants! Everything was fantastic... maybe the stars were aligned, but the food, service and atmosphere were all top notch. The oysters were some of the best we've ever had. The flavor and crispy cheese topping... awesome!! We had bread pudding for desert and could have invited 2 or 3 other to share... it was a huge and delicious!! We will be back!!
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great! We tried the crawfish etouffee and red snapper. We literally cleaned our plates it was so good! We will definitely visit again.
I loved this place. Great vibe, a bar area, and lots of TV's. Menu had lots of great sounding dishes, plus daily specials. The boudin balls were very good as was the voodoo sauce. Loved the crawfish etoufee, it had great spice. My wife's shrimp, lobster, and grits looked amazing. Would be here all the time if we lived here. It was pretty packed on a Monday night. Only negative would be the server, he didn't seem real happy to be there.
Tons of great food options. Took several minutes to decide what to get. Fried pickles and jalapeños are an amazing start. Their voodoo sauce is very good. The “Who Dat” sandwich was very unique and delicious. Would highly recommend that one. The burger wasn’t bad. Definitely try a sandwich or the tacos over the burger. Lots of TVs for all your sporting needs. Live music was available very often as well. Definitely come check out this place if you want some good NOLA cuisine
Came to Dat Cajun Place and let me tell you they did not disappoint! We grabbed seats at the bar, and our server Josh was a one-man show. He handled the entire bar like there were five of him, smooth, fast, and friendly! Now, let’s talk food! The cook, Daniel, served up some All-In Oysters that had me saying, “Oh my, my, my!” This was my first time trying oysters, and they hit the spot and the heat was ridiculously perfect. My friend went for the fried catfish po’boy with a side of gumbo (so good!), while I had the fried shrimp with their spicy sauce, rice, and spicy potato salad. Flavor on point. From the moment we walked in until the time we left, the customer service was top-tier. I can see exactly why the locals keep coming back. Let’s just say I’m going to bed happy, full, and completely satisfied. Thanks, Dat Cajun Place, for an amazing time at the bar! We’ll definitely be back on our next visit to Panama City, Florida!
